SPARK® is a research-based program inspired by the teachings and research of Maria Montessori and Dr. Cameron Camp, which focuses on giving residents meaningful ways to feel needed and be productive. We use tailor-fit assessment tools to evaluate each resident’s capabilities and strengths so that the program can best meet their needs.

The effectiveness and success of our SPARK® program for Independent Living residents is based on 4 foundational pillars.
Our mission is to inspire contribution, productivity, and engagement from our residents. Residents are encouraged to participate in various activities based on their interests and abilities. We celebrate our seniors as the unique individuals that they are by providing them with both meaningful experiences and proven therapeutic techniques to help them retain their cognitive capabilities to the fullest extent possible.

Megan joined The Villages of Imperial Pointe in October 2023. She has worked in Senior Living for 14 years specializing in Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. Megan is originally from New Orleans, LA and attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Megan prides herself in being an advocate for Seniors and their families. She is solution-minded and enjoys being a resource to the people in her local community. In addition to her love for seniors she is an active member in Our Saviors Church, an avid dog-lover, and volunteers with the Girl Scouts of America. She is also a very proud wife and mother and enjoys spending quality time with her family.
